Code of Conduct
Last Updated: December 20, 2025
The Tera Intelligence Platform connects professionals across the global energy, finance, and infrastructure sectors. To maintain a trusted, secure, and productive environment, we have established this Code of Conduct. This document applies to all users, subscribers, partners, and contributors accessing our services. It sets forth the specific behavioral standards required to participate in our ecosystem. Failure to adhere to these standards may result in the suspension or termination of access.
1. Professional Standards
1.1 Professional Courtesy. Users are expected to treat all other members of the community, as well as Tera staff, with dignity and respect. Interactions should remain professional, constructive, and focused on business objectives.
1.2 Anti-Harassment. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment. This includes, but is not limited to, unwanted contact, offensive language, threats, stalking, or any form of intimidation directed at other users or Tera employees.
1.3 Non-Discrimination. Discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status is strictly prohibited in all platform interactions and content.
1.4 Communication Integrity. Users must not use the platform to transmit offensive, obscene, defamatory, or libelous content. All communications should be suitable for a professional workplace environment.
2. Platform Security and Access
2.1 Credential Security. Users are individually responsible for the security of their login credentials. Sharing accounts, passwords, or authentication tokens with third parties—even within the same organization—is a violation of this Code.
2.2 Unauthorized Access. Users shall not attempt to access accounts, data, or platform features for which they do not have explicit authorization. This includes attempting to escalate privileges or access another tenant's environment.
2.3 Prohibited Technical Activities. To protect the stability of the grid intelligence network, the following are strictly prohibited:
- (i)Use of automated scrapers, crawlers, or bots to harvest data;
- (ii)Reverse engineering or decompiling any part of the software;
- (iii)Load testing, penetration testing, or vulnerability scanning without prior written approval from Tera Security;
- (iv)Interfering with the platform's availability for other users (e.g., Denial of Service attacks).
3. Commercial Integrity
3.1 No Solicitation or Spam. The platform is a tool for market intelligence, not a channel for unsolicited mass marketing. Users may not use messaging features or contact information found on the platform to distribute spam, chain letters, or unsolicited commercial offers.
3.2 Honest Representation. Users must provide accurate information regarding their identity, professional affiliation, and authority. Impersonating another individual, company, or entity is strictly prohibited.
3.3 Fair Dealing. Users shall not manipulate market data, ratings, or platform inputs to artificially influence analytics or deceive other market participants.
4. Content and Intellectual Property
4.1 Respect for Ownership. Users must respect the intellectual property rights of Tera and third-party data providers. Downloading, redistributing, or reselling large volumes of proprietary data outside the scope of your license is a behavioral violation.
4.2 User-Generated Content. If you upload documents, comments, or data to the platform, you warrant that you have the right to do so and that the content does not violate any third-party confidentiality agreements or copyrights.
4.3 Malicious Content. Users must not upload or transmit any content containing viruses, malware, trojan horses, or other malicious code that could compromise the platform or other users' systems.
5. Compliance and Enforcement
5.1 Reporting Violations. If you witness a violation of this Code of Conduct, please report it immediately to our Compliance Team. We treat all reports confidentially and investigate them thoroughly.
5.2 Investigation Process. Tera reserves the right to monitor platform usage and investigate suspected violations. Users agree to cooperate with reasonable requests for information during such investigations.
5.3 Consequences. Violations of this Code may result in:
- (i)Written warnings;
- (ii)Temporary suspension of account access;
- (iii)Permanent termination of the user's account and/or the organization's contract;
- (iv)Legal action for damages or injunctive relief.
