The map of the world's power grid does not exist in any one place. It has to be assembled out of regulatory filings, satellite imagery, operator disclosures and market signals, continuously and in many languages. That assembly is the engineering problem here.
What you will actually do
- Build and operate ingestion pipelines that run continuously against sources that change format without warning.
- Design NLP extraction that turns filings and disclosures into structured, queryable records.
- Work with satellite and geospatial imagery to locate and verify physical grid infrastructure.
- Own data quality end to end: if the dataset is wrong, customers make worse decisions with real money.
