Enterprise Account Executive

This is a new business role. There is no inbound queue, no SDR handing you meetings, and no territory drawn for you in advance. There is a dataset of 114,067 electricity-market companies across 236 countries and territories, a product those companies need, and a phone.

What you will actually do

  • Pick your own accounts out of Tera's own company dataset (developers, investors, utilities, manufacturers, lenders and advisors) and rank them by what they are actually likely to buy.
  • Find the person who signs, then find their direct line. Not the switchboard, not a generic inbox.
  • Call them. Most of this pipeline will start on the phone, and you will make the first call yourself.
  • Run the cycle end to end: discovery, demo, procurement, security review, close.
  • Negotiate licence fee, term and scope deal by deal, and recommend terms that Dublin executes.
  • Bring what you hear back into product and data priorities. You will sit beside the people who build the thing you sell.

Why it sells

  • Grid coverage across 236 countries and territories: transmission lines, substations, transformers and connection points.
  • 114,067 electricity-market companies, and the 170,268 professionals who run them.
  • Buyers who already hold budget for market data and already pay for worse.
  • A platform our own analysts use daily against live deal flow, so your demo is the real product, not a staged one.

In the company

The package is weighted to variable on purpose: we would rather pay you for closing than for showing up. Base is set by market and experience, and we will talk about it on the first call, along with the guaranteed commission floor that covers your first two quarters while the pipeline builds.

This is not for you if

  • You need inbound leads, an SDR or a marketing engine to hit quota.
  • You would rather send a sequence than pick up the phone.
  • You want a fixed playbook, a drawn territory and a manager to escalate to.
  • A high base matters more to you than uncapped upside.

How to apply

Do not send a CV first. Call us. Leave your name, a number we can reach you on, and in under two minutes: which company on our platform you would go after first, and why. We call every applicant back within two working days.

You will most likely reach the voicemail. That is the normal outcome here, not a brush-off: the line is worked by people who are on other calls for most of the day. A voicemail is a real application. Leaving a good one for someone who has never heard of you is most of what this job is.

If a phone call is not accessible to you, send us the same pitch as a voice note or in writing. Both routes reach the same person, and neither one is second best.
